Coreopsis Solar Fancy ® is from the Solar series of Coreopsis grandiflora and is a beautiful border plant for the summer garden. Coreopsis Solar Fancy is a perennial consisting of spectacular perennial wildflowers. With their profusion of striking, bright red flowers with yellow edges, Coreopsis Solar Fancy brings colour from late spring to deep autumn. The long-flowering perennial is resistant to heat, drought and moisture. And the flowers are well liked by butterflies and bees. This plant thrives best in full sun, reaches a height of 50 cm and a width of 45 cm, and is hardy to -20 °C.
By pruning this plant back after its first flowering, Solar Fancy rewards you with a second flowering later in the season. Solar Fancy is without doubt one of the most resilient, lushly flowering, low-maintenance perennials for a natural garden splendour.
