Camassia bulbs are available from August to December (increasing to January while stocks last). Of course, you can already start landscaping and beautifying your surroundings before the season starts. It is therefore possible to order flower bulbs online before the season begins, to ensure you of your preferred choice of camassia bulbs. The camassia bulbs are delivered at the right planting time! Planting camassia flower bulbs

Give camassia bulbs plenty of space. We recommend planting the bulbs with a spacing of approximately 30 cm. Camassia comes back every year and gives a beautiful white or blue colour to the greenery at the end of April, beginning of May. Ensure a spot in the shade or semi-shade. In the full sun the camassia will flower sooner.

Different types of camassia

There are various types of camassia, including camassia cusickii, camassia leichtlinii and camassia quamash. We offer a wide range of camassia (while stocks last). To make your choice you can use the filter; choose for example the bulb size, flowering period, colour, group or height. Camassiaboli can be planted in the ground manually. But in case of mass planting you can also opt for mechanical planting.

History of the camassia

The camassia originates from the mountains and prairies of the western part of North America. Indians ate the cooked bulbs.  The Latin name camassia originated from the pronunciation of the Indians who called the edible bulbs 'quamash'. In addition, the Indian word 'camas' means fruit.
