The flowers offer a beautiful contrast: the exterior is a fiery red with golden-yellow edges, while the interior is bright yellow with a red heart. When the sun shines, Stresa opens its petals fully, resembling a magnificent water lily.
In addition to the striking blooms, the foliage is a decorative asset, featuring the characteristic purple-brown stripes. With a compact height of 20-25 cm, Stresa is a sturdy variety that stands up well to wind and rain. This makes it extremely suitable for pots, containers, and rock gardens. Blooming in March and April, it is one of the first to herald the arrival of spring. Plant the bulbs between September and December in full sun or partial shade.
