This selection of the real Spanish common bluebell gets many lilac pink, bell-shaped flowers per stem. Attractive for bees and a good garden plant. Comes into its own when planted in groups. The flowers are lightly scented. Naturalisation! *IMPORTANT NOTE: This particular species is classified under Schedule 9 of the UK Wildlife & Countryside Act as a non-native species. While it's not explicitly prohibited from being sold, it is an offence to plant or cause these to grow in the wild within the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. You still can safely plant them in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland, but you must take measures to control them. In other countries, this does not apply. |
