Of course, you can already start landscaping and beautifying your surroundings in advance of the season. Different types of chionodoxa

We offer a wide range of chionodoxa. Such as chionodoxa Luciliae, chionodoxa forbesii and chionodoxa sardensis, among others. To make your choice you can use the filter; for example choose the bulb size, flowering period, colour, group or height. Chionodoxa bulbs can be planted manually in the ground. But for mass planting you can also opt for mechanical planting.

 

Planting chionodoxa flower bulbs

The appearance of chionodoxa is similar to scilla, but the outer petals and stamens are slightly different. Plant chionodoxa bulbs in autumn in a sunny to semi-shaded spot in well-drained and nutrient-rich soil. In the first spring after planting, the snowy roses often flower after mid-March, but once they are established, the flowers can be in full bloom as early as the end of February. Chionodoxa is suitable for naturalising, it sows easily and can withstand a dry spring or hot summer.

 

History of Chionodoxa

Chionodoxa derives from the Greek word 'chiōn' meaning 'snow' and 'doxa' meaning glory or fame. Hence the name Snow Flower. Chionodoxa is native to the Mediterranean region and Asia Minor.
