The erythronium bulbs are available from August to December (increasing to January while stocks last). Of course, you can already start landscaping and beautifying your surroundings before the season begins. It is therefore possible to order flower bulbs online before the season starts, to ensure you of your preferred choice of erythronium bulbs. Erythronium bulbs are delivered at the right planting time! After you have placed an order, you will automatically receive an e-mail with an order confirmation. Planting erythronium flower bulbs
Erythronium bulbs should be planted in the autumn. The biggest enemy of erythronium bulbs is drying out. Plant them immediately after receiving them in a spot where the soil does not get too dry. Do make sure that the soil is well drained. It is advisable to cover the bulbs with leaves or compost after planting.
Different types of erythronium
We offer a wide range of erythronium. To make your choice, use the filter; for example, choose the bulb size, flowering period, colour, group or height. Erythronium bulbs can be planted manually in the ground. But for mass planting you can also opt for mechanical planting.
History of the erythronium
The Erythronium owes its name to the narrow elongated bulb, which resembles the fang of a dog. The name is derived from the Greek word erythros, which means 'red'. This is probably a reference to the reddish patches on the leaves or the red-spotted petals of the European dogtooth.
